On Thursday, October 15, at 8:30 AM, our Cardenas Wolves will take part in the Great ShakeOut, the World’s Largest Earthquake Drill! Students and staff will practice the important steps to stay safe during an earthquake:
1️⃣ DROP to the ground.
2️⃣ COVER under a sturdy desk or table.
3️⃣ HOLD ON until the shaking stops.
Earthquakes can happen at any time, so practicing today helps us be prepared tomorrow. Together, we are building a safer and more prepared school community!

Join us for a parent workshop about how to support language and literacy at home! At the workshop, parents will learn about the Pathway to Biliteracy Awards, how to understand their child’s academic and language data, and hands-on literacy activities they can use at home to support their child’s growth. We hope to see you this Wednesday, either in person at the Parent Center or on Zoom!
